Wow! Where has this year gone! Its New Years Eve (yep, my life is exciting!).
We've been pretty busy with the Inn contest. For those of you who may not have heard, we didn't reach the number of entries we needed to have a winner. It was sad for us, as we really hoped we'd be able to pass this beautiful and much loved B&B to someone who really would love it like we have.
It was an interesting and wonderful experience tho. There are so many wonderful dreams and it was a little disappointing that we were not able to help make someones dream come true. But we know all things happen for a reason, and we look forward to what the future holds. We don't know what that is, but we move forward with faith knowing that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord.
So what will our next step be? We really aren't sure at this point, but we know we still want to sell this beauty. Why? Now more than ever, we have the desire to return to WA. Our kids were here for Christmas and afterwards, our sweet and delightful grandaughter returned to WA with our hearts. And we are expecting our second grandchild too. And there are other family members there that we are missing.
What will we do when we sell? We are hoping to find another B&B in WA. We'l see...
But until that time, the B&B will remain open and we will continue to do our best to warmly welcome our guests and provide them with the best experience possible.
I find I am more tired this year after the Sugar Plum Tea came to an end. Could it be that I am finally "feeling" my age? I don't know, but I'm thinking I might need to start getting more exercise than my daily routine. Or is this the mid winter 'slump'? Either way, I really think I need to get more exercise! LOL.
We want to wish you all a very happy and wonderful New Year! We hope your year is filled with many blessings.
